Performance within the public project “La Sabateta de la Liberty” which has brought the Zapato Góndola (gondola shoe), along the streets of the city of Valencia.
The performance created and directed by the artist Antoni Miralda has been shared with the artists: Fran García Gómez, Xoel Gómez López, Paula Martínez García, Laura Montero Villoria, Carmen Muñoz Ruiz, Anastasia Onikiienko, María Ortuño Sala.
The performance is part of Miralda’s project “Honeymoon: Unclassified” curated by Sandra Guimarães, artistic director of the Bombas Gens Centre d’Art, Valencia, which culminates with the exhibition of the Zapato Góndola (1990-2023) in the space of Bombas Gens.
The exhibition can be visited from 27 April 2023 to 26 November 2023, at the Bombas Gens Centre d’Art, Valencia, Spain.
This monumental piece, made to fit the foot of the Statue of Liberty, was presented in the Spanish Pavilion at the 44th Venice Biennale in 1990 and sailed along the Grand Canal.
On this occasion, Bombas Gens Centre d’Art is the venue where the Zapato Góndola will be seen for the first time in Spain.

They helped coordinate the project Alba Raja, art curator of Bombas Gens, and Fran Picazo, art curator.
